Upgrade Instructions

This document contains information about downloading the latest upgrade from Aspect Software. This download contains only the latest program files and is intended for registered users only.  If you are not registered, please email Aspect Software at support@aspect-software.net.


If you are not already using Aspect Software, you need to download the complete set of installation files.

There are two (2) ways to upgrade...

(1) If you have Aspect Software installed on a computer that has Internet access, simply go to the Aspect Navigator by clicking on the "Lightening Bolt", clicking on the "Scripts" tab, and choosing "Download Latest Upgrade."

 

(2) If you are already a registered user of Aspect Software, download only the latest upgrade.

Select Download Now to begin downloading the software. (The size of the file is approximately 2MB).

After clicking on the link above, your browser will give you the option to run the software or save it to disk. Select Save this program to disk.

Your browser will ask where you want to save the file. Select the Upgrade folder beneath your Aspect folder. If you do not see an Upgrade folder, either create one or select a temporary directory such as C:\Temp or C:\Windows\Temp. Remember where you save the file.

When the download is complete, load Windows Explorer by right-clicking on the Start button and selecting Explore.

Locate the file that you downloaded. The name of the file will be Upgrade4.Exe.

The file is a self-extracting archive. Double-click on the file to extract it.

After extracting, you should find a file named Setup.exe in the same folder as the original file. If you do not see this file, click on the View menu and select Refresh.

8.

Make sure that your current version of Aspect is not running on any computers and then double-click on Setup.exe to install the upgrade.

9.

When the installation is complete, double-click on the Aspect icon on your desktop to load the software.
